The Ape City Quest
Requirements
- A Shovel, a Rope and a Crowbar
- 50 gold for the cough syrup
- A strong team for the deep Banuta catacombs (last missions)
Required Items
- Cough Syrup (Padreia, druids' guild in Carlin)
Starting the Quest
NPC: Hairycles (ape shaman in Banuta)
Walkthrough
- Ask Hairycles in Banuta for a MISSION and prove you are a friend of the ape people.
- Whisper moss: take it from the dworc lair south of Port Hope yourself.
- Cough syrup: Ustan in Port Hope lost his to an ape raid; buy one from Padreia at the druids' guild in Carlin.
- Lizard papers: get the scroll from the lizard magician's hut in the lizard village in the south-east of the jungle.
- Read the stone with lizard and other signs: dig into the hidden tomb east of the desert city, go down to the big level and one more, and read the stone between two huge red stones. Let Hairycles look into your mind.
- Bring a hydra egg from the hydra lair (see the Hydra Egg Quest) and a witches' cap mushroom from the secret dungeon below Fibula.
- Destroy three casks of red fluid in the old lizard temple below Banuta with a crowbar.
- Get a hair of the holy ape Bong from the forbidden land in the north-east of the jungle. The Blind Prophet in the mountains lets you in when you tell him Hairycles sent you.
- Take the snake destroyer hammer from Hairycles, go into the deepest catacombs below Banuta and destroy the monument of the serpent god with it. Report back: Hairycles now heals you and sells bananas and the statues of the holy apes.
Rewards
- Healing by Hairycles (burning, poison, low health)
- Bananas from Hairycles (2 gold each)
